    Really enjoyed all the pictures of Glen Africa, which I've always wanted to see. I got to wondering where the name came from. In Lee Whittlesey's "Yellowstone Place Names" book, I learned that it was probably named by that great tour leader and interpreter, George L. Henderson, in the 1880s "for the many wildlife that his visitors were almost certain to see in the glens through the Hayden Valley, which was his fancied Africa."
