JJ (Continuing to Be SO Into This) said “If there is here, then we are there.” (Is she always so chipper, Bison?) With no lunching or “sit down” snack breaks, we strove forward to make it back to the Grand Loop road in Hayden Valley while there was still light. Greywolf is recovering nicely, but she is slowed down enough that we were able to keep up with her.

The last of the sunlight from somewhere on the planet lit up Avalanche Peak or something out East in a neat view that is not visible from the road.
The return trip out took a mere 4.5 hours. Of course, KenT wanted to look at the dump sites on the way out, but was tired enough that he restrained himself. We landed back at our vehicles 11.5 hours from our start time, tired and happy.
